The ‘Hygreen Provence’ project will be developed via this deal which aims to produce, store and distribute green hydrogen. The project will make it possible to produce 1,300 GWh of solar electricity and renewable hydrogen on an industrial scale.
Air Liquide and Sinopec have signed a MOU to accelerate the deployment of hydrogen mobility solutions in China. Under the deal, both the companies will study the development of hydrogen mobility network in the Asian country.
With an aim to strengthen Air Liquide’s presence in the Malaysian market, the company has taken over the industrial gas major, Southern Industrial Gases. The move is expected to double Air Liquide’s packaged gases filling capacity in the Southeast Asian country.
Under a long-term agreement with Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries, Air Liquide Munay Tech Gases will build, own and operate a new nitrogen facility in Karabatan, Kazakhstan. The new facility is expected to supply upto 8,000 Nm3/h nitrogen to KPI’s new 500,000 tonne per year polypropylene plant.
Air Liquide has entered into an agreement with Methanex Corporation to supply oxygen, nitrogen and utilities to its upcoming methanol plant expansion project in Louisiana. With an aim to serve Methanex and its other customers in Geismar and Baton Rouge, the company has plans to make the heavy investment in the region.
The Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit (HMU) will be built on the Tabangao refinery in Batangas, Philippines. The move follows a long term contract signed between Air Liquide Philippines and Pilipinas Shell for supplying hydrogen to Shell’s Tabangao refinery.
