The 2024 "Automotive Sustaining Power Award" has established several categories, including the Application Form of Automotive Technology Innovation Breakthrough Award, Automotive Technology and Equipment Innovation Award,Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmarking Award, Sustainable Development Benchmarking Award, Auto Parts Supplier Excellence Award, and Auto Equipment Supplier Excellence Award.

The "Application Form of Automotive Technology Innovation Breakthrough Award" and the "Automotive Technology and Equipment Innovation Award" under the "Automotive Sustaining Power Award" primarily focus on key demand areas in the industry such as new energy vehicles, intelligent connectivity, intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, and future mobility. They aim to recognize advanced automotive innovation technologies and projects that demonstrate a certain level of originality, breakthrough, and revolution.

The "Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmarking Award" and the "Sustainable Development Benchmarking Award" under the "Automotive Sustaining Power Award" primarily recognize outstanding projects that serve as industry exemplars in the fields of intelligent manufacturing and sustainable development. The Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmark Award focuses on selecting factories and workshops that have achieved significant results through active exploration and practice during the comprehensive transformation from automation to digitalization and intelligence. The Sustainable Development Benchmark Award, on the other hand, honors enterprises and projects that have made outstanding contributions to green and low-carbon initiatives, energy conservation and emission reduction, environmental protection, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement. 

The "Auto Parts Supplier Excellence Award" and the "Auto Equipment Supplier Excellence Award" under the "Automotive Sustaining Power Award" are primarily targeted at suppliers of automotive parts and equipment services. These awards recognize powerful enterprises that continuously pursue excellence and demonstrate outstanding comprehensive performance in areas such as technological innovation, quality assurance, market performance, customer service, environmental protection, and social responsibility. 

The entire selection process adheres to the principles of fairness, openness, and impartiality. It is conducted through self-nomination and recommendation, and after being accepted by the "Automotive Sustaining Power Award" review office, the initial screening and scoring are carried out by the editorial team of 《Automobil Industrie》. Subsequently, online voting is conducted, followed by professional evaluation and scoring by experts from the editorial board of 《Automobil Industrie》. The weightage for each part is as follows: 30% for the editorial evaluation of 《Automobil Industrie》, 20% for online voting, and 50% for the expert evaluation of the editorial board. The final scores and rankings are obtained through weighted calculation.
