Having traversed eighteen years, the International Automotive Congress serves as a vital platform for technical exchange and cooperation within the automotive industry. Each edition is dedicated to gathering the wisdom and strength of the global automotive sector to jointly explore the latest technological developments and promote industrial innovation and collaboration.

This year's conference focused on strategic insights and frontier technologies for automotive industry intelligence and electrification. Experts and scholars from enterprises and research institutions such as Tsinghua University, Soochow University, China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC), Geely Automobile, Great Wall Motors, Dongfeng Motor, Changan Automobile, GAC Group, Li Auto, IM Motors, Horizon Robotics, Chongqing Zhongke Yaoluchuan, SERES Powertrain, SINOMACH Digital Technology, FUCHS, and Sensata Technologies shared their innovative achievements, attracting nearly 300 industry peers for learning and exchange.

This year's conference was jointly organized by 《Automobile Industries》 (under the Mechanical Industry Information Institute), the Institute for Automotive Engineering of RWTH Aachen University (Germany), and the Vogel Communications Group (Germany). Co-organizers included the Automotive Branch of China Machine Press, the Future Science and Engineering College of Soochow University, the Zhejiang Society of Automotive Engineers, the Automotive Professional Committee of Jilin University Shanghai Alumni Association, and the Jiaxing Automotive Parts Industry Association. The event was undertaken by Beijing Jigong Vogel Media & Advertising Co., Ltd.

Following the conference, the 2025 "Automotive Industry Rotary Awards" Ceremony was held, unveiling and grandly presenting sub-awards including the Automotive Technology Innovation Breakthrough Award, Automotive Process and Equipment Innovation Award, Automotive Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmark Award, Automotive Industry Sustainable Development Benchmark Award, Outstanding Automotive Parts Supplier Award, and Outstanding Automotive Equipment Supplier Award to the winning enterprises and teams.

This year's conference acted as a prism, refracting the latest developments in China's automotive technology and the future direction of the automotive market: AI is deeply empowering various specialized research fields, powertrain systems are undergoing diversified and meticulous refinement, and intelligent integration is deepening and iterating rapidly. The current competitive dimensions of the automotive market have evolved from merely products and technologies to a comprehensive contest involving cross-domain ecosystem synergy and the entire industry chain. A core consensus from the conference is that future leaders in the automotive industry will undoubtedly be those innovators who master core technologies, possess systems integration capabilities, and foster open ecosystems.
