Webasto Chongqing plant was awarded The Best Webasto Plant 2023 by group, which is the second time for Chongqing plant won this award.

The Best Webasto Plant is the highest award in operation within Webasto Group – only one best plant is selected from more than 40 plants around the world every year. The award competition is more challenging than the previous years. In addition to the basic criteria Webasto Production System (WPS), Quality and Launch, two new criteria have been added including Sustainability. The winner will be awarded the flag and can keep the flag for one year.

It is not by chance that the Chongqing plant stands on top in the fierce competition. The operational efficiency of the Chongqing plant continues to improve with many criteria ranking at the top among global plants. Production capacity increased in a short period of time to meet customer deliveries, ranking first in the world in terms of efficiency; and employee satisfaction also raised to the first within the group. These achievements could not be achieved without the relentless efforts and dedication of every employee.

Operational excellence is one of the success factors of Webasto. As the best plant in the world within the Group in 2023, Webasto Chongqing plant is also a demonstration of Webasto's deep cultivation in China.
