BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, showcases a stellar lineup of pure-electric commercial vans and trucks at IAA Transportation 2024 (from 17th to 22nd September 2024) in Hannover, Germany.
This prestigious event for the European logistics and commercial transportation sector, hosts the global premiere of the BYD E-VALI, an inspiring new 3.5t/4.25t light commercial vehicle (LCV) designed specifically for the European market to meet last-mile and parcel delivery services. Equipped with the latest BYD Blade Battery technology, the BYD E-VALI also comes with a high specification of ADAS equipment. With substantial cargo capacity, it is a practical and low-maintenance solution for eco-friendly commercial van fleets.
Another new entry in Europe is the BYD EYT 2.0, a pure-electric Yard Tractor for use in ports, at terminals and at distribution centers. Up to 75t GCW (Gross Combined Weight), the BYD EYT 2.0 stands out as a robust, yet agile and highly maneuverable Electric Yard Tractor, retaining the characteristic offset cab. Its powerful capabilities effortlessly handle substantial containers and trailers. Equipped with the ultra-safe BYD Blade Battery, it offers a working time of up to 16 hours with quick efficient charging between shifts for optimal productivity.
Also displayed at IAA Transportation 2024 are the 7.5T pure-electric BYD ETM6 for urban delivery and the imposing BYD ETH8, a 19T eTruck, well-suited to logistics and sanitation services. The two pure-electric trucks utilize BYD’s exclusively developed eTruck platform for safety, energy efficiency and performance and have a full-load range of 200km and 250km respectively.
