At present, the globalization of China’s automotive industry is accelerating. The strong growth of complete vehicle exports has driven automotive components exports to achieve increases in both scale and value, while the industry is undergoing a profound transformation from “products Going Global” to “technology Going Global” and “industry Going Global.” Against this backdrop, the establishment of this award aims to align with the wave of industry transformation and build an authoritative recognition and value communication platform for pioneering enterprises deeply engaged in global expansion. As Jiang Yabao, President of Maschinen Markt magazine under China Machine Press, emphasized in his speech at the awards ceremony: “The ‘Pioneer Industry Award（Automotive Industry）’ is an international technology award covering multiple fields, including the automotive industry, Machine tool Industry, Scientific Instrument, Automation Industry, Logistics Equipment Industry, Robot and Embodied Intelligence Industry, and more. It aims to honor enterprises that have made positive progress and outstanding contributions in the process of Going Global. This special selection for the automotive industry strictly adhered to the principles of openness, fairness, and impartiality throughout the entire process. The evaluation was jointly conducted by the editorial department of Automobil Industry under the Machinery Industry Information Research Institute and experts from research institutes, universities, and OEMs. Each of the two evaluation sections accounted for 50% of the total weight. The final scores and rankings were formed through weighted aggregation, fully ensuring the professionalism, authority, and credibility of the results.

Since the launch of the selection, more than 60 applications from enterprises and technical achievements across the industry were received. After five key stages—application collection, preliminary qualification review, secondary review, expert evaluation meeting, and final review—8 enterprises were ultimately awarded the Automotive Components Going Global Leading Enterprise Award, 7 enterprises received the Automotive Components Going Global Operational Excellence Award, and 12 technical achievements won the Automotive Components Going Global Technology Innovation Award, totaling 27 awards.

In addition, the “Forum on Automotive Components Enterprises Going Global under the New Landscape,” held concurrently with the awards ceremony, was jointly hosted by several authoritative organizations, including the organizing committee of the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. The forum focused on the opportunities and challenges facing automotive components enterprises in globalization.
